An Enigmatic Dance Through Mystical Connections

Let’s start with a brief story, shall we?

Almost a year ago, I wrote about a crush I had on someone and even obliged by writing follow-ups with intricate details. While nothing transpired, and I have since moved on from this one-off connection, it still lingers, oddly. It’s a weird but very mystical lingering to be exact! There has been no interaction or reason for me to continue thinking about this energy as I have moved from the area, lost contact, and engulfed myself in new endeavors like creating an online magazine. But still, every now and again, I hear a whisper of his name, catch subtle reminders through travels, and more prevalently, have had unexpected and intermittent dreams, keeping me in a loop of never forgetting.

It’s not like I haven’t tried to reason with my mind to let this go — let me be very clear, I do not seek to think about this person on a regular basis! However, there is something about this connection that won’t let me simply walk away. So I’ve decided to turn toward it and question it.
