Nothing like warm beverages, cream cheese bagels, and a few seasoned women chatting it up at a local café.
Recently I had the pleasure of spending time with two amazing ladies I’ve known for a short time. These women not only put the zeal in life but have revved me up to continue my journey with flare and confidence.
…and an added bonus, we enjoyed some morning delights at Doxa, a local café in Alachua, FL.
Spending time with these two opened up the one thing I’ve been missing in my life which is hanging out with a group of girlfriends.
Don’t get me wrong, I hung out with girls during my teenage years but I usually felt awkward and out of place. I never felt welcomed or confident to fully be me and that day it changed.
Initially, I was a little nervous and I’m sure it showed in my posture and reluctance to lounge out on the chairs located on the upper deck of the café. But this type of interaction is still complex…
