I hear your frustration and tbh who doesn't want to see lucrative results from their writing. This is how you feel at this time and what you chose to address. Unfortunately most media platforms are saturated and some of the good influencers and creators are not seen.
Personally I love writing as it's my therapy. It helps me clear what's on my mind. Some people like what I write and some don't or some people see it and some don't. The one thing I told myself with returning to this platform was to find my writers voice and build a portfolio to add to my dream of being a writer. I told myself I never want to lose what's in my heart off the strength of a Benjamin. This world is already led by that as well as the likes and followers game. I got roped into it too until I realized it added nothing and depleted everything.
I know we need money but maybe you can try digging deeper to the person that was originally called to write in the first place.
